Summary

Lorna balks at Reeva holding back the nature of their mission, and Esme tries to win her confidence. Jace sets a trap for the Mutant Underground, and John starts training Reed in using his new mutant power.

Our Take

This one splits its attention too many ways and none of the storylines fully land. The Lorna and Esme material has some decent tension, but Jace’s trap feels like busywork, and Reed’s power training rushes through what should be a slower burn. It’s a passable middle-of-the-road hour that moves pieces around without much payoff. Fine if you’re already invested, skippable otherwise.
