Episode Summary & Review
Summary
City prosecutor Reed Strucker discovers that his two teenage children Lauren and Andy are mutants… and that the government will stop at nothing to capture them. To save his children, Reed and his wife Caitlin must seek out the mutant underground and obtain their help.
Our Take
A solid but familiar setup that does the bare minimum to earn its two-hour-feeling pilot. The family drama lands well enough and Stephen Moyer sells the desperate-dad angle, though the mutant underground characters are mostly sketches so far. Worth a look if you like X-Men-adjacent stuff, but don’t expect anything you haven’t seen before.
