Summary
Danny recovers from Davos’ crippling strike, while Ward learns a secret about Bethany. Meanwhile, Joy meets with Mary and then seeks a reconciliation with Davos.
Our Take
A slower, bruised-up hour that mostly works because it lets Danny sit with his failure instead of rushing him back into action. Ward’s Bethany subplot is the standout, even if Joy’s scenes with Mary feel like setup for something better. Not much punches through here, but the character work is solid enough to keep you on the hook for the finale.
