Episode Summary & Review
Summary
After Claire and Burstein save his life, Luke learns some of what Reva was hiding from him. Meanwhile, Mariah tries to turn the people of Harlem against Luke as part of Stryker’s scheme to sell his super weapons.
Our Take
This one’s a mixed bag. Luke’s recovery scenes with Claire have real warmth, and watching Mariah spin her public smear campaign is genuinely uncomfortable in a good way. But the pacing stumbles once Stryker’s scheme kicks into gear, and some of the reveals land with more thud than shock. It’s a decent bridge episode that sets up the endgame without delivering much punch of its own.
