Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When Scarfe tries to hold up Cornell for more money, Cornell shoots him. Badly wounded, Scarfe turns to Luke for help and offers to give him the evidence that will put Cornell away for good.
Our Take
This is a talky bottle episode that leans hard on Scarfe’s last-chance redemption, and it mostly works thanks to Frank Whaley’s weary performance. The problem is Cornell, who spends the hour sulking and threatening without much forward momentum. Some solid emotional beats between Luke and Claire keep it afloat, but you’ll feel the plot idling until the final minutes. Fine, just not memorable.
