Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Cornell takes the battle to Luke when he tells his men to squeeze the people of Harlem for everything they have… and blame Luke. Meanwhile, Misty receives word that her partner Scarfe may be crooked.
Our Take
This one leans hard on flashbacks to fill in Cornell and Mariah’s history, and while Mahershala Ali and Alfre Woodard sell the material, the present-day plot moves at a crawl. The intimidation campaign against Harlem gives things some urgency, but the Scarfe thread feels undercooked here. A decent middle chapter that’s more setup than payoff.
