Summary
Vanessa returns to NYC but Fisk realizes that something is bothering her. Meanwhile, Murdock & Nelson represent a new client, but Fisk has anticipated their strategem.
Our Take
The season’s endgame kicks into gear here, and the courtroom material finally pays off with some genuine tension as Fisk stays two steps ahead. Wilson Bethel continues to be the season’s secret weapon, and the Fisk/Vanessa scenes give the villain’s side a creepy domestic weight. A setup hour for sure, but a confident one that earns its cliffhanger.
