Our Take
The season four arc pays off here as Trigon finally arrives and the show goes full apocalyptic, a big tonal shift from its usual monster-of-the-week rhythm. Raven’s resignation to her fate gives the hour real weight, and the sense of dread is unusually heavy for a kids’ cartoon. It’s mostly setup, but the dread alone makes it worth it.
