Summary
When Control Freak busts out of jail, throwing him back in should be as easy as clicking a remote; after Control Freak hotwires some high end AV equipment and escapes into a TV set, things get a little weird.
Our Take
A goofy, parody-heavy bottle episode that trades the season’s usual darkness for cheap gags about television. The channel-surfing bits hit more than they miss, and Control Freak remains a fun villain, but the humor leans hard on references that won’t land for everyone. Worth a watch if you want something light, though it’s a strange pick to open the season.
