Summary
Slade is believed to be gone for good, but Robin is not so sure. His suspicions are confirmed when he finds Slade threatening to destroy the city. Robin is ready to take him down, except for one problem: he can locate Slade, but none of the other Titans can. Now the Titans are starting to wonder if Slade is truly back or if Robin is haunted by the idea of Slade’s return?
Our Take
This is the creepiest episode the show ever attempted, and it mostly lands. The fights feel genuinely vicious because Robin is fighting alone, and the reveal of what’s actually happening to him is darker than anything else in the series. The other Titans get sidelined, but that’s kind of the point. Worth watching even if you skip most of season 3.
