Our Take
Mad Mod” is a trippy, dialogue-light episode that leans hard on its psychedelic visuals and animation tricks, and honestly, it mostly works. The chase structure gets repetitive by the halfway point, and Mad Mod himself is more gimmick than villain, but the hypnotic school setting gives the show a chance to play with style in ways it hadn’t before. Worth a watch for the look alone, just don’t expect much story.
