Equal Measures

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

The Maximals try to place a Predacon detection system during an Energon storm and Cheetor somehow ends up in the Darksyde, while Terrorsaur ends up in the Axalon. Using Terrorsaur to discover how the transportation occurred, Dinobot goes to Optimus with a plan to beam a bomb to the Predacon base. Meanwhile Cheetor discovers an Energon vein running between both bases.

Our Take

A fun mid-season swap episode that gets a lot of mileage out of Cheetor sneaking around the enemy ship. Terrorsaur stumbling into the Maximal base is the real highlight, and the two-sided jeopardy keeps things moving. The science behind the teleportation is handwaved nonsense, but the character work sells it. A light, entertaining half hour that’s worth a watch if you’re enjoying the season so far.
