Episode Summary & Review
Summary
An alien probe appears, and Optimus is seemingly disintegrated, leaving the Maximals bickering over who is in command.
Our Take
A talky mid-season bottleneck that mostly works because the character bickering is actually funny. Dinobot’s power grab gives the episode its spine, and Rattrap’s snark keeps things moving when the plot stalls. The alien probe stuff is thin, but as a cheap-to-produce bottle episode about leadership disputes, it holds up fine.
