Our Take
The finale wraps up eight seasons with the kind of oversized cosmic brawl the show has been building toward, and somehow it still makes room for a genuinely sweet sendoff. The action gets a little long in the middle, but the emotional payoff lands. If you’ve stuck with Mordecai and Rigby this long, it’s an ending that earns its runtime.
