Episode Summary & Review
Summary
While Richter learns about the Belmont legacy, Annette searches for the wisdom of her own ancestors. Edouard attempts to get through to a comrade.
Our Take
This is a quieter, table-setting hour that splits its focus three ways without fully committing to any of them. The Belmont backstory lands well and gives Richter some needed weight, but Annette’s spirit journey feels rushed for how much it’s clearly meant to mean. Edouard’s scenes are the highlight. Fine as connective tissue, just don’t expect much momentum.
