Summary
Drolta makes a persuasive pitch to Olrox, and Annette encounters an old enemy. Revelations shed new light on Maria and Richter’s family histories.
Our Take
This episode leans hard on backstory, giving Maria and Richter some overdue emotional grounding that mostly lands. The Olrox and Drolta scenes move the vampire politics forward nicely, but Annette’s flashback fight feels like a retread of things we already guessed. A decent table-setter, though the pacing sags in the middle stretch.
