Summary
Jessica finds herself on the run with her mother, and they make plans to leave the country. Meanwhile, Dorothy take charges of Trish’s recovery, and Malcolm finishes his first case.
Our Take
A fittingly grim end to a season that always preferred misery over momentum. The mother-daughter resolution lands with real weight, even if the Trish subplot feels rushed after sitting idle for episodes. It’s a downer of an hour, deliberately so, and the pacing suffers for it. Worth it for the cast, but don’t expect closure that satisfies.
