Summary
Jessica tracks down Kilgrave to provide Jeri with enough evidence to convince her that a mind controller exists so that the lawyer will represent Hope. Meanwhile, Jessica and Luke draw closer after a barfight after they both realize the other is more than they seem.
Our Take
A slower, moodier hour that spends most of its runtime building Jessica’s investigation while dropping hints about her past with Kilgrave. The bar fight and Luke connection give it some welcome spark, but the pacing sags in the middle stretches. Worth watching for the character work, even if it mostly sets up what’s coming.
