Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Captain Cassidy’s crew of Freegunners is about to pull off the biggest heist of their lives – now there’s only a deadly armada and a cosmos sundering space storm between them and freedom.
Our Take
A slick, competent sci-fi short that plays like an expensive ad for a game nobody bought. The heist beats are competent and the animation looks great, but the characters feel like they were introduced in a season we never got, so there’s little reason to care who survives. Fine as a mindless space romp, but don’t expect it to stick with you.
