Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Allison and Patty make a deal with Nick. Kevin celebrates his birthday with two dinners. To Patty’s surprise, she goes on a date with Tammy at the Vic House. Allison confronts Nick about going through with the plan her way.
Our Take
A slower, talkier hour that mostly works because Patty finally gets the spotlight. Her date with Tammy is the highlight, awkward and sweet in a way the show rarely manages. The Kevin birthday stuff feels like padding, and the Nick scenes spin their wheels until the last few minutes. Worth watching for Patty alone, just don’t expect the plot to move much.
