Summary
Allison goes rogue; Kevin and the gang try to replace Patty; Nick shows up at Patty’s salon.
Our Take
A quieter hour that shifts focus to Patty, and Annie Murphy finally gets to share the load with Mary Hollis Inboden, who’s quickly becoming the show’s secret weapon. The sitcom stuff with the Patty search feels stale, but the scenes between the two women land because they’re actually talking like people. Worth watching for that pairing alone, even if the plot inches forward.
