Our Take
The road trip format gives this episode room to breathe, and Allison and Patty’s slow-burn chemistry finally gets the focus it deserves. Kevin’s basement subplot is the usual disposable noise, but the confession scene lands hard enough to make up for it. A turning point episode that’s worth sticking around for.
