Season 3 brings the brothers to court: Chuck versus Jimmy, with Kim caught between, and the show’s debut of Gus Fring tying the prequel thread to its parent. The Chicanery courtroom episode — Chuck unraveling on the stand, exposed by a battery in his pocket — is one of the great TV hours of the decade, and its aftermath (Chuck’s exit, the lantern) is devastating.
