Summary
Jimmy and Kim hire an assistant; Mike seeks out a mysterious acquaintance; Chuck uses the law to gain an advantage over Jimmy.
Our Take
A slow-burn hour that mostly earns its patience, with Chuck’s quiet scheming giving the episode its real teeth. Mike’s investigation stretch is atmospheric but drags a bit, and the new assistant subplot is charming filler more than anything. Still, the tension between the McGill brothers simmers nicely, and the closing moments set up real trouble ahead.
