Summary
Tensions rise between the merged Starfleet and Maquis crews when the ship becomes trapped inside a star that’s collapsed upon itself.
Our Take
A fairly standard “ship in danger” hour that mostly exists to force the two crews to argue with each other. Janeway and B’Elanna butting heads works well enough, and there’s some fun technobabble around the singularity, but the crisis resolves too easily to feel like much was at stake. Fine viewing if you’re along for the season, just don’t expect a memorable one.
