The Voyager crew discovers a world that has been destroyed by a type of energy that has been banned on all Federation worlds as being too dangerous to use.
Our Take
Time travel episodes live or die on their stakes, and this one mostly works because Janeway and Paris make a decent odd-couple pair stuck on a doomed planet. The premise is intriguing even if the resolution feels a bit too tidy by the end. A solid mid-tier hour with some genuine tension, worth a watch if you’re along for the season.
