Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Captain Solok, a Vulcan and former classmate of Captain Sisko, challenges Sisko and the crew of DS9 to a game of baseball.
Our Take
A silly idea executed with real affection, and honestly the cast seems to be having more fun than they have all season. The baseball logic is thin and Solok is a one-note jerk, but watching the crew fumble through warmups pays off better than it should. It’s fluff, but charming fluff, and a welcome breather before the war stuff gets heavy again.
