Summary
The genetically engineered humans who had previously visited DS9 return to the station asking Dr. Bashir to help rouse Sarina from her cataleptic state.
Our Take
A quieter, character-driven hour that gives Bashir an awkward romance and one of his old patients a chance at a real life. The Bashir and Sarina material is sweet in spots, but it moves too fast to feel earned, and the visiting mutants mostly exist for comic relief. Worth a watch for Bashir fans, though it’s pretty skippable otherwise.
