Summary
Captain Picard and commander Riker pose as enemies in order to retrieve a deadly artifact.
Our Take
The conclusion wraps up the mercenary storyline tidily, with Picard and Riker keeping up their double act convincingly. The artifact plot is fairly standard MacGuffin stuff, but the villain’s backstory adds some genuine tragedy. It’s a solid, unremarkable hour that benefits from watching Part I fresh. Fun without being memorable.
