Our Take
A surprisingly fun pulpy detour that plays like a heist episode in Trek clothing. Stewart clearly enjoys playing Picard out of uniform, all smirks and fake beards, and the mystery of what the mercenaries are actually digging for keeps things moving. It ends on a solid cliffhanger too. Not deep, but an entertaining hour that earns its second part.
