Summary
The Enterprise discovers a Dyson Sphere, in the process they discover a disabled ship that still has a crew member on board. When beaming over to the ship, Jordi discovers Montgomery “Scottie” Scott in the transporter system of the ship.
Our Take
A warm nostalgia trip that mostly earns it, thanks to James Doohan sliding back into Scotty like he never left. The Dyson Sphere plot is gorgeous window dressing that never really goes anywhere, but the character work between Scotty and Geordi is genuinely touching. It sags a bit in the middle, yet the emotional payoff makes this an easy hour to recommend.
