Episode Summary & Review
Summary
A visiting ambassador conceals the deadly secret to his successful negotiations as he attempts to use Troi to further is reputation.
Our Take
A Troi-centered episode that wastes her again, aging her rapidly and stripping her personality for the sake of a creepily manipulative guest star. The ambassador is slimy from the start, so there’s no mystery, just an hour of watching Troi suffer while the men figure it out. The ending wraps up too neatly. Skip it unless you’re a completionist.
