Episode Summary & Review
Summary
As the ship encounters mechanical problems, Lwaxana Troi takes Worf’s son under her wing while she prepares for her wedding.
Our Take
Lwaxana teaching Alexander to embrace fun is genuinely charming, and their scenes together have real warmth. The ship-eating parasite subplot, though, is pure filler that kills the momentum every time it cuts back. It’s a mixed bag, watchable for the character stuff but skippable if you’re not invested in either Troi or Worf’s kid.
