Season 2 answers the cliffhanger and raises the stakes: the innies wake in the world, the world wakes to Lumon, and the show expands its mythology (Choreography and Merriment, Cold Harbor’s true purpose, Mark and Gemma) without losing its eerie tone. The staging, including episodes that mirror themselves, confirms it as the best sci-fi on TV.
