Summary

Picard meets with his older brother in France, and contemplates resigning his Starfleet commission after his ordeal with the Borg. Worf’s adoptive parents spend time with their son on the Enterprise, and succeed in embarrassing him in front of his crewmates.

Our Take

A quiet, grounded hour that follows the big Borg showdown, and honestly the change of pace is the whole point. Stewart gets some of his best material here, and the Worf subplot lands more laughs than you’d expect. It drags a bit when Beverly’s journal entries take over, but the Picard brothers facing off in the vineyard makes it worth your time.
