Summary
Riker is torn between saving Picard or humanity when the Borg plan to use the abducted captain in their scheme to destroy Earth and turn him into Locutus.
Our Take
A tense, propulsive hour that pays off the cliffhanger without cheating. Riker stepping into the big chair gives the episode real weight, and the Locutus confrontation lands hard even if the resolution leans on a convenient techno-trick. Still one of the series’ high points and absolutely worth your time.
