Summary
Batman and Blue Beetle are thrown back in time where they must stop Chronos from destroying Batman on his first night in Gotham City where he faces off against Carmine Falcone and his men.
Our Take
A tight little time travel romp that pairs Batman with Blue Beetle to charming effect, letting the mentor-student dynamic carry the comedy while Chronos stays a serviceable threat. Watching Batman awkwardly protect his own origin story is genuinely fun, and the pacing never sags across the short runtime. It’s lightweight for sure, but the character work makes this one of the season’s better entries.
