Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Commissioner Barbara Gordon is determined to protect her DA husband from an elite assassin, and definitely does not want Batman, and especially Bruce Wayne’s, help.
Our Take
Barbara Gordon finally gets the spotlight here, and her stubborn refusal to accept help makes for a tense, well-paced hour. Curaré is a genuinely intimidating villain, silent and relentless in a way the show rarely attempts. The action holds up nicely even if the plot beats are predictable. Worth watching for the character work alone.
