Summary
It’s Judgement Day in Gotham when a contagion spreads across the city, turning citizens into homicidal maniacs. As survivors cower in fear, the Batman’s allies mobilize to save whoever is left while the Dark Knight Detective finally faces his ultimate foe, The Joker!
Our Take
A grim, tense hour that finally gives us this show’s Joker, and the buildup mostly pays off. The contagion premise keeps the pacing tight and gives the supporting cast real work to do, though the middle stretch repeats itself a bit. The actual confrontation could use one more beat to land harder, but it’s still a satisfying payoff to the season’s simmering threat.
