Summary
With Gotham’s eyes glued to Rupert Thorne’s trial, the Batman protects the streets from the crime boss’ retribution and gun crazed lieutenant: Eddie Nygma aka The Riddler!
Our Take
A solid season opener that trades mystery for muscle, giving us a Riddler who’s more trigger-happy thug than puzzle master. That angle is genuinely interesting even if the action beats start repeating themselves by the halfway mark. It moves fast and looks great, just don’t expect much depth from the courtroom drama. Worth a watch if you liked season one’s style.
