My Adventures with Superman
Our Review
The most charming Superman in decades: Clark (Jack Quaid), Lois (Alice Lee), and Jimmy as Daily Planet interns navigating their early twenties in Metropolis while Clark learns to be Superman — and the show is a rom-com-first superhero story built on optimism. The anime-inflected art style, the will-they-won’t-they newsroom energy (they do, refreshingly early — the show knows the romance is the point, not the tease), and the villains remixed through shonen-flavored spectacle make it the friendliest entry point in the franchise.
Lois gets her best modern characterization — an investigative partner, not a damsel — and the seasons escalate the mythology (Krypton, the… — Brainiac… — without losing the kindness that defines the character. This is what Superman is for.
Verdict: Watch it. Truth, justice, and a better tomorrow — actually sincere about it.
