Wednesday Season 3 Wraps Production; Netflix Shares New Photo of Jenna Ortega

Netflix wraps filming on Wednesday Season 3 after seven months in Dublin and Paris, with Eva Green and Winona Ryder joining Jenna Ortega. A 2027 return is expected.

Netflix announced today that production has wrapped on Season 3 of Wednesday, marking the moment with a new photo of Jenna Ortega back at her typewriter, stone faced under a desk lamp. Season 3 spent seven months filming, beginning near Dublin in February with a detour to Paris in April.

Al Gough and Miles Millar return as creators and showrunners, with Tim Burton again executive producing and directing. The season adds Eva Green as Ophelia Frump, the long missing sister of Morticia played by Catherine Zeta Jones, and Winona Ryder as Tabitha, reuniting Ortega and Burton after Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Chris Sarandon, Lena Headey, Noah Taylor and Andrew McCarthy also join the cast.

No release date is set yet, and with post production now the priority, a 2027 return is the expectation. Catch up on the first two seasons on Netflix, and our full show page is here: Wednesday.
