The final season: the Howard Hamlin destruction arc (brutal, funny, then genuinely tragic), the Waterworks hour that follows Kim to the end of her story, Gene Takovic in Omaha unraveling in black and white Cinnabon limbo, and Saul Gone, the finale where Jimmy finally tells the truth in a courtroom and chooses 86 years over the scam of a lighter sentence. “The name’s McGill. I’m James McGill.” The best final season a prestige drama has delivered in years.
