Season Review
The foundation season: Aang wakes from the iceberg, the world’s stakes are established, and Zuko’s hunt begins. It’s the most kid-focused season (the filler-y early episodes), but the seeds are all there — the genocide backstory, Iroh’s quiet grief, the Winter Solstice finale giving us the spirit world and Aang’s Avatar State. The Storm (Zuko’s backstory) is the first all-timer episode, and the finale’s siege of the North ( Zhao vs. the Ocean Spirit, Yue’s sacrifice) is the first sign of the epic it becomes.
