Scrubs Season 2 Adds Ed Quinn, Stephanie Koenig, Punkie Johnson and Kellan Tetlow

Scrubs Season 2 welcomes Ed Quinn as the new ER chief, Stephanie Koenig as the hospital administrator, plus guest turns from Punkie Johnson and Kellan Tetlow.

ABC’s Scrubs revival has added four actors to its second season. Ed Quinn (The Oval) and Stephanie Koenig (Lessons in Chemistry) join in recurring roles, Deadline reports.

Quinn plays Dr. Jax, the overly confident, bro-y head of the ER at Sacred Heart. Koenig plays Cassie, the new hospital administrator, a role that puts fresh pressure on the doctors who grew up in those hallways.

Punkie Johnson (The Chi) guest stars as Dee, a tough prisoner facing an even tougher dilemma, while Kellan Tetlow (This Is Us) steps in as Ollie, the son of J.D. (Zach Braff) and Elliot (Sarah Chalke). The revival continues under showrunner Aseem Batra, with Bill Lawrence, Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke executive producing.
