Monday (Sep 14)
Ademir confirms to the judge that he will conduct his own defense at the trial. Lyris tries to calm a nervous Ulisses over the missing money in his account. Edvaldo apologizes to Diná, who notices the butler’s anxiety to learn how she met Arthur, and Pilar feels obliged to take Brigitte back into her house. Ademir is convicted and attacks Pedro. Adriana celebrates Ademir’s imprisonment but suffers over Pedro’s situation, and Francesca warns Otoniel that Heitor is alive. Adriana visits Ademir and tells him she is the one responsible for his arrest.
Tuesday (Sep 15)
Adriana provokes Ademir and reveals she encouraged Suely to denounce him, while Pedro warns her she risks losing her parole. Ulisses tells Pilar his marriage is over, and Bruna throws Ademir out of her house while Brigitte visits him. Elisa feels powerless in front of Ademir, and Dafne watches Tom fight with Elenice. Nancy presents herself as the representative of the jewelry store’s new partner, and Ulisses confronts Pilar. César pays Adélia for all the files of the forensic expert Dalto, and Rosa looks for Pedro and Cléber intending to denounce Tom. Adriana decides to unveil herself as the new partner of the jewelry store on the day of the exhibition honoring Arthur. Otoniel tells Adriana that Francesca revealed Heitor is alive, and Heitor is seen traveling abroad.
Thursday (Sep 17)
Heitor tells a group of pilgrims he has not been to Brazil in a long time, and Laurentino worries about Mirtes’s attachment to Camilo. Mau Mau discovers that Fernando is Diná’s grandson, and Pilar learns from Carmita that Ademir caught Dora with André. Ademir tells Pilar that Adriana is behind everything bad that has happened to him in recent days, and Pilar declares that the two of them must put Adriana back in prison. Diná threatens to take away Fernando’s job and his place at university if the grandson does not stay away from Mau Mau. Carolina hints at a spark between Felipe and Mau Mau. Adriana goes to look for Ademir.
Friday (Sep 18)
Ademir and Adriana trade threats, and Ademir tenses when Adriana asks whether he was the one who killed Arthur. Rosa is devastated that Elenice does not want to denounce Tom. Rafael refuses Pilar’s request to cancel the contract with Elza’s florist shop, and Otoniel tells Elisa he wants to help Francesca. Ademir warns Ulisses that to recover half of the money Fábia withdrew from the joint account he will have to divorce his wife. Rosa tells Adriana that the document from Brigitte’s father implicates Pilar and must be in the old house of the Brandão family, and Adriana asks Lyris to find it. Nancy is surprised to find Pilar with Tiago when she goes looking for him at his house, and Tom questions Elenice after finding Adriana in his home.
Saturday (Sep 19)
Bia and César find the report prepared on the murder of Arthur and discover that Adriana is the physiotherapist who treated César. Francesca advises Otoniel to talk to César about his father. Iuri and Nicolau meet at Brigitte’s house, and Nicolau stands up to Pilar. Rafael tells Andréa he noticed a strange interest in Arthur’s death from César and Bia during one of their encounters. Adriana receives a message from César asking her to come to his house with a lawyer, and Pilar proposes that she and Fábia join forces to buy Tiago’s share of the partnership. Luan tells Ademir that Dalto’s sister-in-law sold the expert’s files, and Adriana and Pedro learn that César has found the original forensic reports of the murder of Arthur Brandão.
