The Short Version
If you remember nothing else: the anime’s own recaps and flashbacks are almost always skippable, and the few genuine side arcs are easy to spot because the main story freezes while the crew has a beach day. Here is every filler stretch in the series:

Two habits keep it fresh: watch at your own pace and do not treat catching up as homework, and consider the fan edit community’s pacing cuts only if you already know the story. First time through, watch it as aired, minus the list above.
