Amazon has renewed Neagley for Season 2, keeping the Reacher spinoff alive on Prime Video. Maria Sten reprises the role of Frances Neagley, the ex military investigator and fan favorite who first appeared as Jack Reacher’s protege in the Lee Child novels.
The series debuted on September 16, the same day as the Reacher Season 4 finale, and Amazon says it became the number four most viewed original series debut in Prime Video history. More than half of its audience, 52 percent, came from outside the United States.
Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton serve as writers, executive producers and co showrunners, with the series produced by Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios. Alan Ritchson guest starred as Reacher during the first season. The renewal lands days after Reacher itself was picked up for Season 6, so the franchise keeps expanding on Prime Video.
