Former X-Men Polaris returns to Xavier’s mansion just as a new threat emerges on campus.
Our Take
A fun riff on the classic Danger Room gone wrong story, and the animation really gets to show off during the action beats. Polaris fits into the cast more naturally than I expected, and the episode balances the chaos with some genuinely uneasy character moments. It moves fast and never sags, making this one of the stronger hours of the season so far.
