Episode Summary & Review
Summary
A new football season begins as the town, the team and owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, prepare to welcome King Charles III.
Our Take
A strong return that balances the absurdity of a royal visit with the club’s very real pressure to win promotion. The town’s mixed feelings about the King’s arrival make for some of the season’s best material, and Reynolds and McElhenney stay funny without hijacking the spotlight. Worth your time even if you’re only here for the football.
